Silicon Valley Women in Human Resources...and Friends

About Our Group

My name is Marcia Stein (click for business website) and I am in a group of a Human Resources professionals interested in growth and development in our field. Our events began with 14 women in January 1997 and has grown to a mailing list with over 1,500 women. Our free Bulletin Board is the most visited page on our site. Membership is free as are most events. We've had stellar speakers, great professional and personal relationships have developed, and people have found jobs and mentors. As a result of our volunteer work, in 2005 I received the Partners in HR Innovation Award from the HR Symposium. Please click here to read more about it.

Our team of volunteers plan our events and book the speakers, following up on all the details. We have monthly events to network, mentor and be mentored. In 1999 we enriched our group by offering specified events open to all women in our community. For specified events, we include our male colleagues. These talks are infrequent and we will notify you of the next open event.

Many of our speakers are well-known individuals in the Silicon valley. For a list of previous speakers and topics, please click here.

Our mailing lists are not marketed, shared or sold to outside individuals. Please view our Privacy Policy. Due to spammers and form abusers, we have had to temporarily remove most of our forms. We hope to have new forms up and running soon as it eases my workload. Until then, please go to http://www.ourhrsite.com/hrw_signup.html to join, provide feedback, change your email address or unsubscribe.

If you want to join our bulletin board, you must send me an email following directions listed here. I am sorry for the inconvenience but spammers led us to take this step.

THE SCHEDULE OF EVENTS IS AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE.
