ABOUT OUR GROUP
My name is Marcia Stein (click for business website) and I am in a group of a Human Resources professionals interested in growth and development in our field. Our events began with 14 women in January 1997 and has grown to a mailing list with over 1,500 women. Our free Bulletin Board is the most visited page on our site. Membership is free as are most events. We've had stellar speakers, great professional and personal relationships have developed, and people have found jobs and mentors. As a result of our volunteer work, in 2005 I received the Partners in HR Innovation Award from the HR Symposium. Please click here to read more about it.
Our team of volunteers meet in January to plan our events and select the speakers. We have monthly events to network, mentor and be mentored. In 1999 we enriched our group by offering specified events open to all women in our community. For specified events, we include our male colleagues.
