Microsoft Vouchers to Train Unemployed

Hi, All.

This was in today's Mercury News.

"In an event Wednesday that focused on the jobless issue, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger visited Microsoft's Silicon Valley research laboratory to inaugurate a new 'Elevate America' program for California, in which Microsoft is providing the EDD with 166,500 vouchers that the unemployed can use for technical training.

The program has several levels of online training. Vouchers will be distributed through local "one-stop" EDD career centers."
